This is me right now. Well, technically, 30 minutes ago, now I’m at the laptop, just finished editing these pictures. Actually, Costrut edited them, I’m just supervising and adding a few finishing touches.
I have a small revelation to share regarding a subject we’ve been debating around here during these last few weeks.
For the first time since I’ve been struggling with finding efficient ways of unwinding, I have finally found one: Walking.
We’ve talked about the fact that I simply can’t disconnect from my work and I know that are people who can relate to this kind of inner struggle. When you feel like you just cannot unwind, that your mind is always focused on your To Do List and everything that used to be effective in your relaxation process, suddenly isn’t anymore. And you slowly start to loose it and wonder if you’re not on the verge of going mad.
Well, today I walked all the way from my home to my office (as S suggested), as in one street (yeah, car person). I felt as if I were on an adventure, everything got intoperspective, I marveled in front of old buildings, I had the time to be grateful, I smiled when I saw Autumn’s signs in full bloom. Walking?!??! Who knew?! #haha
I walked in UGGs, not in heels, just put them on for the pictures. I needed a relaxing walk, not a journey down the Golgotha road.
That’s it, this is yet another small step I took towards organizing my life in a more effective way. Groundbreaking, I know.
