I stamped my own pattern of afternoons onto the fabric of Paris just because I wanted to spend a typically French afternoon, powdered with a little personal touch, of course.

I left for Paris on Friday and Serban was coming on Sunday so we could randez-vous at a bistro at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. I was planning of have a coffee (still water in the end), eat a croissant or 10, laugh, talk about all kinds of things, listen to French music, walk around the little streets of Le Marais and take the metro. Finally, end the day at Fauchon, gorging on pastry and eating them on Pont Alexandre.

All in all, living like the French do. Of course, my outfit had to be French like too so what could have fitted better than a chic head accessory with a veil and an uber lady-like dress? I looked like a crazy and chic (I hope) Minnie

So, at 4 o’clock, Serban was waiting for me in front of our favorite bistro, near Hotel de Ville, with a bunch of flowers in his hand, smiling and looking…ok, I’m not going to go on (he’s a very private person). We laughed (as I predicted), talked a lot, I was sometimes shy, it still amazes me how after 8 months of living together I am still shy and feel butterflies in my stomach around him sometimes.

Ok, I’ll stop with the love overdose, it makes me sick also but I can’t help it, bare with me! People it’s Paris, I tell you, you cannot help it but talk about love in this city.

I must state that I only travel with Air France. I’ve taken this resolution and decided to share it with you because they have the best deals, the nicest crew and the most comfortable flights. So thank you Air France!
