I was organizing my laptop last night. Looking through hundreds of pictures I got somehow nostalgic. It’s amazing how I look at each set of photos and I can remember my exact state of mind, the period of my life I was in and what my soul felt like then.
I remember we took these pictures ,two and a half years ago, in 2011, my first year in Bucharest. I had moved into this beautiful apartment my friend Adela had found. She left for France and I was glad to move in her place. It was the top floor of a building in Academiei. I had a large terrace where we threw the most wild parties. I met many inspirational people that summer and every weekend this terrace was so Not another Teen Movie like.
Then Autumn came and the combination of this season, cats, falling leaves, Boutique du Pain downstairs with it’s cheese salad, Adina and her never ending rose wine, the house full of clothes, tons of plans – was the PERFECT beginning for an amazing adventure that had to come.
Oh and yes, I had a pink laptop.
