I can understand why everybody wants to be my friend so I’m gonna share with you my secret – maybe it helps.
Sure, there are some other important characteristics like the fact that I
- act without expecting nothing in return
- try to talk less bullshit about all the people around me (relax, I am human too, I have my favorite trashy characters too)
- try to be authentic – except the situations when I want to smack some people, then I am fake cause I don’t do karate kid stuff
Being on top, with everybody gravitating around you and professional accomplishments takes a hell of a lot of work. It takes constant improvement of your character, nights of non stop working, it means being down but finding the strength of not giving up and pulling yourself back up, it takes courage to stand alone, determination, real loyalty and capability to leave the drama behind. It takes the strength to believe in yourself even when nobody else does, madness, tons of tears and tons of laughter, it takes principles, values – real values, capability of not let people hurt you, it takes fighting for your goals, no matter what.
This is a period of my life when…I don’t have a life, I work 19 hours/day. It’s hard like hell and sometimes I just want to give up and hide under the bed but this is my fight! One that I’ve chosen and victory means achieving my goals. So each time I wanna give up, I wipe my tiredness away and I push myself a little more forward cause at the end of the day, when I go to bed, a smile always covers my face – I’m closer to owning that castle (#smile, #joke)
