Today, I am using the new Optiblu eyeglass frame selection as a metaphor for telling you that I am extremely proud of our generation. And I am extremely proud of the younger generations too. Not because of the recent elections but because we proved that we are not ignorant. We proved that we can focus on objectives, we proved that we can make a point, we proved that we can be articulated, relevant, opinionated and most important, we proved that we care.
We are the new generations and even if we`re passionate about many capitalist addictions, we are also well aware of what happens around us. We believe in changes and we believe we are the ones who can make them happen. We`re maybe starting to see clearer than the generations before us.
It may be because of the new designer eyeglasses? It may be because we were raised in an era where information travels almost with the speed of sound? It may be because we are more self-confident? I haven`t discovered the reason yet. What I truly know is that we are here and our eyes are wide open. We are respectful towards value and determination and we plan to build a better world. Or at least die trying, no? (from which movie was this line?)
But this does not mean that we take ourselves too seriously, right? We`re wise creatures, arent`t we? Just like the person you see below.
