On our way up to the top we definitely must take the stairs. Even if we will look less poised and even ridiculous sometimes. Even if it will sometimes be hard as hell and terribly tiring. Even if it will make us want to give up so many times. We must definitely take the stairs.

This is the only way Legends are Born

 

And from time to time, if we`re lucky, we`ll find some electric stairs for a while. And we`ll have a slight moment of rest. The ridiculousness might not go away though…

 

 

Here`s how I function: I climb step by step. Always watching, always thinking, always planning my steps carefully. Always trying to make  the right choices for my personal brand, even if that means saying No sometimes. It might look that I don`t like to take risks but in fact the risky business is succeeding in remaining true to myself in the always changing business and world I live in.

If that means looking like a stuffed bear in a long dress. By all means. That`s why you love me. And most important, that`s why I love Me.

 

 

You got to know me for the first time here. In the tech/internet universe. And because of you and this journey I made it clear in mind my mind 

 

How my road up to the Top looks like:

 

First of all:

Self-reliance

I can shoulder responsibilities and be accountable. I make hard decisions and stand by them. To think for yourself is to know yourself.

And that means that I always must be focused, with my eyes on the ball and in control. I`m not a gadget freak but I acknowledge and salute innovation. And it`s pretty clear that in what I do, only using it and embracing it will get me in the right direction. That`s why I am delighted to wear and use the new Apple gadget – The Apple Watch – time is the most important asset in the world. And if you back it up with email, phone, picture and sport access, this little gadget might prove a cool and handy tool while climbing the success ladder.

 

 

Second:

Connection – The People around me.

I can relate to others, which makes everything reach further and deepen in importance.

Here`s the truth. Nobody succeeds alone. It`s always a team effort. Even if this means you have someone who supports you. Family, life partner, friends, advisers, people who work for or with you. This does not mean that you are not self-made, it only means you finally understood that people help the people and that letting people help you is as important as you helping others.

You already know Veronica. My assistant manager. I`m a little bit afraid to praise her more than I already do. Veronica, you know why

 

 

Then:

Communication

I work to communicate and pay attention to the communicators around me. Most important, I hear what isn’t being said. When communication is present, trust and respect follow.

`No one plans on being mediocre; mediocrity happens when you don’t plan. If you want to succeed, learn the traits that will make you successful and plan on living them out every day.

Be humble and great. Courageous and determined. Faithful and fearless. That is who you are, and who you have always been.`

 

 

And:

Self-confidence

I trust myself. It’s as simple as that. And when you have that unshakeable trust in yourself, you’re already one step closer to success.

It wasn`t always like this. I had my moments when I had doubts regarding my ability to be wiser or my ability to feel beautiful, or my ability to work hard and achieve my dreams. Sometimes I still have moments when I have these doubts. But they are moments. The big picture relies on Me trusting Myself. Always. With almost a mad power.

 

 

And finally:

Willpower

I have found the strength to see things through– I don’t vacillate or procrastinate (wait, this is a half truth, I do procrastinate sometimes ). When I want it, I make it happen.

The world’s greatest achievers are those who have stayed focused on their goals and been consistent in their efforts.

Sometimes it`s hard like hell but I want to take the stairs. I want the struggle. I want to be ready and wise enough to know which train to chose and to be able to get in it.
