It was my fourth time in Istanbul and the fourth time I had the same feeling the moment I took a walk in the old centre. The impression that I could somehow taste the vibe of Ada Kaleh.
I vividly remember the times when my parents use to tell me stories about the mysterious island where time stood still: Ada Kaleh. Danube’s Atlantida. About the bazaar, the fig trees, the glamorous sewing lady who lived in Ada Kaleh. About Jasmine tea, about the 600 ottomans living on the island. About the jewelry and precious fabrics brought all the way from ‘Stanbul. About the Ada Kaleh cigarettes and about its sad end, drowned under the Danube’s waters.

I couldn’t imagine what great adventure were waiting for me when I first embarked on this trip with Prestige. Now, four days after my return, I still look back and marvel. From floating in a salt lake, to flying over Capadoccia in a hot air balloon, from visiting a resort that looked like a set from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory to being a guest in an aristo hotel that made my jaw drop. L-I-T-E-R-A-L-L-Y.
My first trip with S was in Istanbul so yeah, I have another reason to feel connected to this place. 
In case you were wondering, the answer is Yes. I looked like the mad, eccentric lady of the #Presstige group.

Eu am fost in luna de miere in Instanbul, si in oricate alte locuri am fost de atunci, tot a ramas orasul meu preferat, e frumos mai presus de cuvinte (desi probabil nu voi putea fi niciodata obiectiva avand in vedere clipele petrecute acolo).

Tinuta cu rochia lunga e asa frumoasa, ador atentia pe care o acorzi detaliilor – acel lant delicat auriu – cateodata ele sunt cele care fac o tinuta sa “stand out” 🙂
