Here`s a little dirty secret – When I started visiting Bucharest but I was still living in Arad, I got fascinated by everything here. Starting with Mega Image. Yep. We don`t have chic supermarkets with their reusable bags that make you look so NY chic when you carry them. We don`t have supermarkets with yummy breads and donuts and most of all, in Arad we could not buy sushi from a supermarket. So you must understand, I was psyched with this brand.
Well, the sushi will still be there, the little yummy breads also but the reusable bags will get an update. A design update. Mega Image just launched the Mega Chic competition where a challenge has been passed to all creative people.
Between the 7th of October and the 7th of November, everybody can enter their layout proposition for the new Mega Image bags – The Mega Chic Collection.
The contest is held on Mega Image`s Facebook Application and everybody can submit their idea.
There are 3 categories – Eco Attitude, Urban Cult and Romanian Creations. After the submissions period, between the 8th and the 15th of November, the judges – Domnica Margescu (Fashion Director Elle Romania), Roxana Ghibescu, who`s a curator at Galateca and the talented photographer Cosmin Gogu, along with all of us, the public, will decide who are the 3 winners and which layouts will become the new Mega Image – Mega Chic bags.
Now, you must admit, we all buy the Mega Image bags. They are a symbol. How cool it will be that soon we`ll buy some Mega Chic ones? Take a look here and vote for your favorites or submit your layout.
