TRAVEL TO PLACES THAT GIVE YOU PEACE

Did you experienced that moment in your life when you just wanna lay down and die, exhausted?
Well, if you are a control freak in your professional life, like I am, I’m sure you did.

Since the past few days have been not so jolly regarding my health I decided to take a rest. Better yet, on Friday night (last Friday ofc), I think it was about 10 pm, I was in a supermarket (met with Emanuel by accident) thinking what would be “the Snobbish Advice” in this situation.

After 3 minutes and 18 seconds it finally hit me. Well, literally not me, Serban said it but I agreed that it’s the snobbish thing to do.

And we did it. After 6 hours we were in the airport, on our way to a city break.

You know by now that I don’t post often pictures from the places I visit. I kinda of not want to take my camera with me there, it’s big and heavy for a little person like me and honestly, I want my memories to be filled with the whole experience and to keep it in my heart and mind. Being the little, frantic tourist never worked for me.

Anyways, moving on, guys, I think this will make a good Snobbish Advice this week.

If you don’t have time for a full vacation, I don’t know, 7 days or more, try a city break. After 3 days away you’ll come back fully energized and positive. Even if you have to spend almost half of it by phone, coordinating things in your professional life, yep, that was me.

I loved Istanbul, with it’s perfect mix of oriental and occidental architecture. It’s last floor terraces and amazing sea views. Amazingly polite people and breath taking cuisine. Out of this world jewelry and lavender ice cream. But the most important of all, I loved Istanbul for the role it had in our history! It has the most amazing true stories to tell you, so leave it all be and go and listen to them!

On the other hand, I am profoundly attached of my Andra Andreescu dress. I wore it day in and day out for the last past weeks and I think I’m gonna do that from now on too. It’s the perfect combination of femininity and casual moods.

Andra is a rising star designer of which you will hear about more, soon. Dedication, creativity, glamour, smartness, she has them all,so be prepared to be amazed.

I’m off to style a shooting now, I hope you guys are all well and tolerant (yep, that’s a big must have nowadays). Take care of you and the people you really what around you. At the end of the day, being satisfied and in peace with who you are and with your life means everything.

Okkk, I’m off basing again no? Yes, I do. I’m gonna stop now.
My friend’s cat died last night, I think I’m still affected because of that. She cried so much and all that sadness in her eyes made me sad too. And when I’m sad I think too much. There, now you know the mind connections of how I got to the reflections pointed above.

Autumn is coming. Thank you Goodddd!
Ahh, all that melancholy, can’t wait!

Au revoir,
Ana

Here are some of the pics I took in a day there. The next days I left my phone and camera at the hotel. Some things should remain only in our minds don’t you think?

I wish I could get away like that any time 🙁 I am sick of my city. Anyway, Istanbul looks very lovely and so is that dress and believe me, I am also craving for autumn!
