I’ve been discussing this aspect at the second glass of Morodan Digital Influencers Academy with the inspirational ladies who attend our first edition. I think my second biggest asset – nope, not the boobs – is the ability to learn something from every detail, every encounter, every gesture, every person I get in contact with.
Books are definitely one’s best friend, however you can find lessons are everywhere. Try to stay alert, learn to open your senses, pay attention to every information that comes your way. Shaping your ideas, views and perspectives is essential.
My mother once told me that I should take good advice from anyone. Regardless of their social status. I’ve learned to be humble from people who were abundantly rich, I’ve learned to surround myself with people smarter than me from the most intelligent people I know, I’ve learned how to do business without graduating from profile schools, but by observing successful people. I’ve learned that way I should not act by being bluntly disappointed by people I admired. And I’ve also disappointed others. And learned from that.
I’ve learned how to enjoy what I have, not from people who have less than me, but from those who had infinitely more, but didn’t know how to appreciate it.

I’m constantly teaching myself to be really aware – it’s a skill, not a gift you are born with, so can be trained – everyone is a teacher, be alert and learn the lessons.
Sometimes you learn a tiny lesson at a higher cost. When that happens, you feel desolated and you might think it’s not worth it! But it is! It’s totally worth it! Because shaping your perspectives, your behavior and ethics is the most fulfilling thing you can do by yourself. And it’s the thing that got me here today.
We learn something from everyone who passes through our lives. Some lessons are painful, some are painless. What’s for sure though, is that all are priceless.
