Remember those pictures with Kate Moss looking flawless that said Kate Moss woke up like that ? Except, of course, she didn’t.
Most of us, bloggers, influencers, tastemakers, changemakers or whatever you want to call us, most of us are always careful to take the perfect instagram picture, to look flawless in our pictorials, to portray the most glamorous life. And that’s attractive for our communities, but it will only take us so far. What I know for sure, after experiencing it – (not because I’m smarter, but because I’m lazier -> getting all glammed up every second of my life tires me, plus I feel perfectly at ease with how I look without any beauty helpers) – is that exposing yourself without make-up or in one of my not-quite-fancy-days is nowhere near the end of your carefully exposed image, it’s the beginning of turning yourself into a cult brand.
Nowadays, everybody is talking about creating special and personal content. But if you think too much about it, if you try too hard to create ‘the vibe’, it will eventually look like you are trying too hard and that what you are exposing is not really you. Or you’ll end up being just another lady who creates exactly the same content as the rest of 938589475949 bloggers out there.
People relate to us because we used to be real. And it’s ok to show ourselves real tired, real honest or real weak. Without turning it into a pity party.

Trebuie sa recunosc ca atunci cand ti-am descoperit blogul nu mi-a placut foarte mult de tine, imi pareai fake, dar de cateva luni incoace te ador, esti o gura de aer proaspat, atat de pozitiva (for real) si de naturala si funny, iar stilul impecabil si pozele superbe sunt doar un plus. Keep up the good work!!
