The best lies are covered with half-truths.Scientists say that everybody lies, and more often it’s because we think it makes our lives easier, that society has conditioned us to shade the truth.
So we do it all the time. Various studies show at least a fourth of our daily interactions with others involve lying, usually about something rather minor. Most often, we lie to avoid conflict, or to spare someone else’s feelings.
If all of this is true I cannot help but wonder why some of us just can’t admit when they tell a lie but instead point the finger every time they think somebody lies to them?
And no, this topic is not caused by the fact that in the last days I was a couch potato and watched Lie To Me ;).
BTW: Alina inspired me to wear this pair of tights. Because she’s obviously creative and so extremely cool she put together this hip outfit and saved my day 😉

Oh my gosh, I was JUST thinking about lies in society!! Like literally a second before I read this entry. I try really hard to either tell the truth or not say anything at all, thought I do work in retail so I end up having to “shade the truth” a lot at work.
I’ve been watching Lie To Me a bunch, too haha.
What gets me is how people just blurt their opinions around like there’s no tomorrow.
You think my shoes are weird? So are your tribal tattoos and Crocs. I didn’t ask for your opinion!! Grr…
