Ever since a few days ago everybody is talking only about this party – The 3 Years of  Molecule F Celebration Party!

Held on the Hilton Calea Victoriei Terrace, in an elegant atmosphere, this year’s party was exclusive, sophisticated and filled with tons of “must see” people.

Mirela, Cerina and Anca looked amazing and were flawless hosts like always. I still remember the first time I met Mirela Bucovicean. In an immense crowd at her fist Molecule F party. Noemi had made our acquaintance and Mirela looked at the me with the warmest smile ever (she didn’t know who I was or what I did) and said “It is nice to meet you and thank you for coming to our party”. Her smile made me feel that everything will be ok in this city.

 .

The Molecule F Party was the first event I attended when I moved to Bucharest, three years ago, so every year, for me, it’s my personal evolution barometer. This year I wore a XIXth century inspired dress by Andra Andreescu and I felt like a little licurici (I know that it’s “firefly” but it sounds better in Romanian) from a different era.

It was a great event and I’m not saying this because I’m MORODAN Day-ing on Molecule F.com

I’m saying this because I saw the people who attended it – who weren’t there because Molecule F was another event they had to attend but because they appreciate and value a high professional team. I saw the perfect harmony between music,food,drinks and flowers and most of all, I saw how Mirela Bucovicean proved yet again, that having values, working hard and being highly professional goes a hell of a long way!

It’s that I knew it was a dress code, ok? I knew it!

60′s INSPIRED – that was the dress code. Which I personally considered to be very well chosen, after all, each time somebody mentions Peroni around me I always think about  La Dolce Vita, Italy and that  “belle” everything feeling. Oh, and about Portofino!

Where was I? Oh yes, well, I would have really respected the dress code at this ultra hip Peroni party which everybody wants to attend if I hadn’t met Adina first.

Ohh boy, meetings with Adina… meetings with Adina always start with a small glass of wine and end with the whole bottle! We have tons of fun, laugh a lot and leave home a little, well, tipsy. This time, I didn’t go home after I met her, I went to the Peroni Anniversario Party.

So dear Peroni people,

Please excuse me that I did not follow your dress code entirely – stripes can be 60′s inspired, no?- if it counts, your party was a success like all of the Peroni parties.

People really had fun- I’ve noticed, I had fun, the music was awesome and I’ve met tons of cool people there.

So until I find out when your next party takes place, Ilinca  told me to check out your Peroni Diario daily for more updates. Will do that!

I can’t remember if I ever told you that when I was little and while growing up I lived in the same building with lots of old ladies. Boy, they were elegant and chic dames! Most of them were my grandmother’s friends. They were friends and neighbours since each one of them had moved into the building, and shared almost everything with each other.

I was visiting and staying with my grandmother a lot at that time so at every tea party, at every cards night, for every life advice session, I was there. Every time one of them felt  that I might have a problem, they would gather the council and start teaching me all kinds of stuff.

I never realized until I was a mature individual how much this living with them experience, helped me. How this always helped me  be more mature than my age, how I learned not to make dramas all the time but instead get my shit together and move on, how  I have to take care of my things and always look elegant, not fashionable. Sure, I also learned that Gin Tonic is the best medicine, that smoking cigarettes is nothing wrong, that I always have to keep my head up high even if I did a stupid shit, and also if a man doesn’t hold the door for me, I should dump him right away.

In their honor, from time to time, I visit those parks that are specially designed for the elder. I look at them while they are playing chess, talking, laughing, and I remember all of them – the twisted bunch of ladies who lived in my grandmother’s building.

I miss you guys and I want you to know that I will never forget you!

Right this moment I am writing to you from a beautiful terrace in Brasov. This place is situated on a quiet street,  it’s cloudy outside and I’m listening to jazz, perfect Sunday afternoon, no?

Oh yes, how I got here…Serban went climbing in Busteni area today so I came along, left him there and came here – c’mon, c’monn, say it!!! Say I am a smart planner! No? Pff, okkkk.

Yes, I am at the laptop. Don’t say a word!  That’s not bad! Not bad at all, it’s not like I’m addicted or something (#yeah) I just wanted to talk a little with you guys today (#smile, #hugs).

I found these two photos of me a few minutes ago and I noticed that they are both from two Beautik events I attended. I always loved their selection of rare, niche perfumes. This last event (short haired midget) was dedicated to Caron and their collection of perfumes – La Selection – you can shop these perfumes exclusively at Beautik Haute Parfumerie

So, looking at these two pictures of me – short haired leprechaun or long haired Grey White dressed in 109? Take your pick and bet what’s my next hairdo gonna look like.

There is one thing that really makes me extremely happy – the fact that I get to be involved in projects that really define me and my personal universe. Projects made with very special people, people who inspire others, who build their own personal stories and who work  hard for keeping some values that our society tends to forget, alive.

Wagner – Maison de la Porcelaine – Arte Frumoase si Povesti  is the most famous porcelain creator in Romania, their collections are sold abroad and in our country with the speed of light. Beautifully designed by Ana Wagner and hand crafted by a team of talented people, their objects are timeless pieces of art.

For me, being asked to collaborate on a special project with them is an immense honor and I couldn’t be more grateful. I can’t wait to show you all what it’s all about and the story behind it.

Ufff, it’s been a busy week and I still have two days of work ahead.

.How are you guys doing on this gloomy weather? I absolutely adore it! You know how I always love nostalgic, Bacovian and melancholic things. Well, gloomy weather or not, tonight we party!

The second TRES CHIC Summer Nights Party has a theme this time – inspired by The Great Gatsby we decided to throw a Gatsby-esque Tres Chic Party this evening at The Lounge Bucharest.

I suggest you to put on a necklace and a dress you feel comfortable in, or even be a Gatsby lover who is wearing jeans and come and socialize with us tonight.

My guess is that it will be a beautiful evening with lots of laughter, fun, chic people, no stiffness and like at the Gatsby’s – tons of  yummy delicatessen.

I was telling you yesterday that I was at TIFF. Well, after leaving Cluj we stopped a day in Brasov too. I don’t know about you but I have a mechanical habit each time I am road tripping – every 100 miles, I stop at the gas station and buy yummy things to eat. Oh well, on this road trip, Pringles, Aloe water, Fischli and Rum Chocolate were exchanged by the one and only ice cream – LA STRADA Contemporay Gelato

Ever since their super awesome launch last week, I’ve tested them all, some of them even two or three times and most of all, in my madness, I’ve asked every friend I’ve met to test them too – you’ll see that they have a delicious, natural and authentic taste and they have a softness like no ice cream I’ve ever seen – think that I’m bullshitting you? Just try one!

By the way, I for one will forever remember the LA STRADA launch event. Eight of the best Romanian designers did a fashion show which was video mapped in the University Square, transforming the street in a special runway.  Andra Andreescu, Maria Marinescu, Cristian Samfira, Razvan Firea, Madalina Dorobantu, Andreea Tincu, Corina Vladescu and Mirela Fraser were the designers who made our streets look more fashionable. For the first time, pret-a-porter fashion, street fashion, technology and architecture directly interacted in order to create a memorable evening.

On our way to Bucharest we decided to visit the Cantacuzino Castle.

I have a special attraction towards this family and their buildings – last year you could see their Bucharest mansion and I visited Micul Trianon too – which is by the way, my favorite.

Reading so much about them and visiting all their impressive castles and palaces made me think that I never brought them anything to pay my respects so what  better choice than to bring them my favorite LA STRADA – the hazelnut flavored one!

Great idea, thought and done, bought five small, chic boxes of  LA STRADA Contemporary Gelato and headed to the beautiful Neo- Romanian Castle.

Just that when I got there, I took a rest and something happened with the ice creams…I can’t explain it, I don’t know….tadam,tadam,tadammm

Hello my darling kittens, how is this Tuesday treating you? If you’re somehow running mad around the city with tons of things to do, welcome to the club. But let’s leave this aside, and stop for a little to take a breath, eat some pastry and feel guilty afterwards – no, no, don’t to that, that’s what I did, bad example, badd examplee!

This last weekend I was in Cluj, at TIFF.

I am glad that I got invited to live this experience because my last attempt with attending a movie industry event – The GOPO Awards – was real dark comedy. Not because of the awards were like that but because sometimes my life is like that, a dark comedy.  Shortly, the day of the Gopo awards I went to do my hair, while doing that,  my car was lifted for parking irregularly and the Gopo dress in the car. I came home by foot and guess what? My keys were in the car too, I reached to call Serban, my phone died. Three hours in front of my house, on a fucked up cold weather, wearing just a t-shirt…what a fucked up day.

 .I love TIFF

•   because it’s in Cluj, a city that feels more relaxed and common sensed

•  because you get to see some interesting movies – I’ve chosen  only the optimistic ones (#simplemindedlittleperson)

• the Gala gave us the chance to see some of the actors we admire

• this whole festival has a special vibe – like you are on a cultural vacation

 Meanwhile, in my hotel room, my alter ego – Venina Gaina – was playing a decadent…something.

Yes, one day I am the tooth fairy, the next day I’m a witch and maybe the day after tomorrow I can be a forest elf.

Actually, I can be everything I want to be and you know what? So can you! Life is all about living your own story.

Serban and I were at TIFF  this weekend and I’m glad that we decided to go – we saw some pretty dope movies, partied with our friends at the All Hollow party, I’ve met with some of my friends from Cluj, went to redo my eyebrows at the amazing Madalina (you must visit her if you come to Cluj or if you stay here – you can find her at GETT’s Salon in Iulius Mall – she’s awesome!) and ate tons of yummy food – yeah, I know, I know, that can easily be seen.

All nice and sweet until yesterday when Serban told me that he wants to go mountain climbing into Cheile Turzii – “Fucking shit! Who’s gonna take my pictures now?!“

I was telling you last week that I was the designated blogger for Peroni at Romanian Design Week – well, besides their super creative bar we all got to enjoy at the Stirbei Palace, Peroni threw a party to celebrate this edition of Romanian Design Week.

Like always, it was a biggg party! We had funnnnn and as you can see we also started our warm up before the party (#pentrucaoardempretiosdoarinzilelepare). Mind you that I did not drink all those Peroni-s alone, ok? Stop suspecting me!

It was Love! Love also flew from her box and if you ask me that was the moment when she doomed us all!

She made us addicted to this feeling and everything that it implies so that I, a cynical little person, became a super cheesy midget – as stated on Facebook.

I am in this cheesy (magical) phase for almost a year now (only 10 days until it’s a year, yeyyy! see?!?! Goooddd, I can’t stand this anymore) and I stated it many times before- I am only linking one example, don’t want you in sugar overdose.

I am gonna keep it super short ok? Here it goes:

I came home the other night and Serban was like “Let’s take a walk and buy some flowers”

And we did just that! We took a walk, talked about everything, held hands and kissed at every street corner we passed by (yes mum, I know it’ s not elegant to kiss on the street) bought some flowers from the flower shop near our house and came back smiling and doing everything stated above all over again.

Yesterday morning I brought those flowers to our 5 MINUTE – Style Class office - the pictures you see above where made on my way to it
